In 2016, Gibraltar company Parade of Stars and renowned international brand signed a contract for perfume manufacturing and the creation of technical drawings of the perfume bottle and the packaging. The FORM of the bottle had already been realised by the brand in their iconic crocodile clutch at the end of 2014.

The brand has provided one red crocodile clutch to Parade of Stars in order to make technical drawings in the FORM of the clutch for production of the perfume bottle, signing prior that a contract which had stipulated that all rights, without exceptions, including intellectual rights, would belong to the brand designers.

Having completed the technical drawings of the bottle, Parade of Stars signed a contract for manufacturing of the perfume and the perfume bottle with Parisian company Ateliers Dinand, represented by Geraldine Mezieres and after that the technical drawings along with the red crocodile clutch were sent to Ateliers Dinand for realisation of the bottle in the FORM of the clutch.

After a while, Ateliers Dinand suggested to make some adjustments to the technical drawings and Parade of Stars, after receiving permission from the Designers of the FORM, gave permission to Atelier Dinand to make the adjustments.

According to the contract, Ateliers Dinand agreed to produce 1,000 bottles of perfume within a year, but it took them almost two years and Parade of Stars intended to terminate the contract, but Geraldine Mezieres promised to pay 10% penalty for not fulfilling the obligations in time and in September 2018, Parade of Stars ordered 3,000 perfume bottles, which were delivered also later of the agreed upon time.

This 3,000 bottles were total disaster, the quality of bottles and box were terrible, Brand started to have problems with the sellers of the perfume. After short investigation into this matter, it was discovered that Ateliers Dinand had produced the perfume boxes in China, charging 22 Euro per box, when in Europe there was a producer offering 12 Euro per box. Furthermore, the packaging, which was supposed to be wooden, was made of pressed cardboard. Given all of the above, Parade of Stars decided to go to another producer and Geraldine Mezieres was informed about this decision. After a while, Parade of Stars received a letter from Geraldine Mezieres, demanding 50,000 Euros for the intellectual property rights to the perfume bottle threatening to write to the sellers of the perfume, that they sell counterfeit, if the sum would not be paid.

The contract between Parade of Stars (named PURCHASER) and Ateliers Dinand (named SUPPLIER) stipulates the following:

It is impossible to comprehend how SUPPLIER (Ateliers Dinand) has become DESIGNERS ??????

Parade of Stars will not pay ransom to blackmailers and crooks and will fight the fraud in the Court of Justice!
